Lt. Col. Thomas O. Stone, 1834-1864 (cenotaph). Interred in Pickensville Cemetery. "His death was caused by disease Contracted while on duty as Lieut. Col. of the 40th Ala. Reg. of the Confederate Army. He was a kind and indulgent Father, a devoted husband, and faithful and noble friend."
